Are you a Physical Design Engineer passionate about innovation?
We’re looking for a highly skilled and driven individual to join our team. As a key player, you’ll be instrumental in designing and implementing our revolutionary chiplet platform. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to spearhead the physical design process, ensuring seamless integration of compute, accelerator, memory, and IO chiplets into a unified, high-performance system-in-package.
Here’s what you’ll conquer:
- Tackle all aspects of physical design, from placement and timing optimization to clock tree synthesis and routing.
- Dive into chip/block-level floorplanning and pin assignment.
- Conduct pre-layout static timing analysis (STA) to assess feasibility, validate timing constraints, and provide valuable feedback to design teams.
- Analyze top-level/block-level clock specifications for completeness and feasibility.
- Execute sign-off tasks like RC Extraction, STA, IR drop analysis, and physical verification.
- Lead the physical design team to achieve aggressive performance, power, and area (PPA) goals within tight deadlines.
- Foster seamless collaboration and communication by coordinating with ASIC and design teams.
Do you possess the following qualifications?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in physical design for ASICs or SoCs.
- Expertise in physical design tools (Cadence, Synopsys, etc.) and methodologies. Prior experience with chiplet-based design, die-to-die interfaces, and networking technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality designs on time.
