ECAT Result Date Announced: You Can Finally Breathe Easy!
Great news for all the students who appeared for the ECAT 2024! The agonizing wait is finally over. The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore has announced that the ECAT result will be declared on Friday, March 22, 2024.
This year, UET conducted the ECAT in online mode, providing flexibility to the students. Remember, as per the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) instructions, the best result out of multiple attempts will be considered for determining your merit. So, if you gave the exam more than once, only your highest score will be counted.
Here are some things to keep in mind:
- The result will be available on the official UET website: https://admission.uet.edu.pk/Downloads/MaMsc/Default.aspx
- You will need your roll number to access your result.
- The result will include your score in each section of the exam as well as your overall percentile.
After the Result:
- Based on your ECAT score and your F.Sc. pre-engineering marks, you can apply for admission to engineering programs in government and private universities across Pakistan.
- Each university will have its own deadline for applications, so be sure to check their websites for details.
We know this is a stressful time for students, so we recommend taking a deep breath and relaxing until the results are announced. On March 22nd, be sure to check the UET website early to access your results.
