The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad has the authority to conduct annual and supplementary examinations of matriculation and intermediate classes in the Faisalabad division, Jhang, and other central districts of Punjab. All public and private schools and colleges in these districts are affiliated with BISE Faisalabad and every year thousands of regular and private students appear for matriculation and intermediate annual examinations under Faisalabad Board.

BISE Faisalabad conducts SSC Part 1 and 2 annual examinations in March and April while HSSC Part 1 and 2 annual examinations are conducted in May and June. Written and practical papers of matriculation and intermediate examinations are conducted separately.
